Fraudulent Job Postings
Beware of Hiring Scams:
Hiring scams are a common tactic used by scammers to target individuals by impersonating someone who works at Target or posing as a recruitment agency. Typically delivered via text or email, these messages offer employment opportunities using outdated or false job postings. The end goal of these scams is generally to either extract payment via “recruitment fees” or sensitive personal information from the individual who received the message.
Target will never ask you to submit personal information via a text message for a position. Target will only ask you to apply for positions through corporate.target.com/careers, or Workday, our applicant tracking system.
If you receive a scam recruiting message, please report it as a scam on the platform you received it on such as LinkedIn, iMessage, or Facebook.
